Tyršák transforms a stretch of the Petržalka riverbank into a laid-back holiday atmosphere right in the city centre. With fine sand, beach chairs, colourful parasols and relaxed seating areas, it offers a refreshing escape just steps from the Old Bridge.

The space is designed to be casual and inclusive — bring your towel, grab a drink, sit on the sand or settle into a hammock under the trees.

Our Tip

If you’re visiting between June and September, come in the early evening for golden-hour light and a relaxed breeze from the river. Bring a light sweater — summer nights by the water can turn pleasantly cool.
