The Collection and Building
Established in 2012 and housed in a beautifully renovated historic mansion (with an extension awarded the Dušan Jurkovič Prize), the gallery presents a permanent exposition of approximately 160 key paintings and sculptures from the late 19th to the 21st century.
The collection covers major Slovak artists and movements, giving visitors a rich overview of the country’s visual culture.
